About Us

Michael G. Barket
Michael is a native of Miami, Florida, where he graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in 1985. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Seattle University in 1994, where he was a member of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society. He went on to earn his law degree from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University located in Birmingham, Alabama in 1997. While at Cumberland, Michael took courses in Decedents and Estates, Real Property, Family Law, Taxation and International Business Transactions.

Michael is a member in good standing with the Supreme Court of the United States of America, Florida Bar, United States District Court, Southern District of Florida and Dade County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Real Property and Probate Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, as well as the Young Lawyers Division.

George E. Barket
George is a native of Florida and served in the United States Navy during World War II. Upon returning to civilian life he graduated from the University of Miami, School of Law. George E. Barket has been a member in good standing with the Florida Bar for more than 40 years. Throughout his career he was court appointed in more than 1,200 probate matters. George is now semi-retired.
